GENERALS RECAP:  Bobby LaFromboise struck out the final 2 batters stranding runners on second and third to secure Jackson’s 2-1 win over Tennessee on Friday night. LaFromboise earned his first save of the season and helped snap the Generals 4-game losing streak. Starter Danny Hultzen (7.0,2,0,0,4,2,WP) earned his 3rd win, allowing only 2 hits in career-high 7.0 scoreless innings. The Generals scored their 2 runs on RBI singles from CF Denny Almonte (1×4, RBI) and C Jesus Sucre(3×4, 2B, RBI) in the top of the fourth inning.

CARRAWAY STRONG IN TRIPLE-A DEBUT: RH Andrew Carraway (7.1,1,0,0,1,4) allowed only 1 hit over 7.1 innings in his Triple-A debut to lead the Rainiers to a 4-0 victory over Albuquerque on Friday. Carraway retired the first 18 Isotopes batters he faced over 6.0 perfect innings before giving up a lead-off single to third baseman Elian Herrera in the top of the 7th. He ended the night striking out 4 batters and walking 1 in the contest.
