GENERALS RECAP: The Generals tallied 13 hits and scored 10 runs for just the 2nd time this season as Jackson beat Pensacola 10-2 on Friday night. Jackson sent 10 batters to the plate in the top of the 2nd inning and scored 6 runs. DH Joe Dunigan (2×5, 2 R, 2 RBI) and 1B Rich Poythress (2×5, R, 2 RBI) recorded 2-RBI singles while 3B Francisco Martinez (2×6, R, 2B, RBI) and Jesus Sucre drove in single runs with hits.
