Tonight’s pregame interview is with Mariners Minor League Pitching Coordinator Rick Waits. He is in his third year at the post and played 12 seasons in the Major Leagues, mostly with Cleveland. Prior to joining the Mariners he was with the New York Mets where he served as coordinator and also Major League bullpen coach. I talk with Waits about the current Jackson pitching staff as well as some former Generals in Tacoma and Seattle.
