TODAY’S GAME: After winning 2 straight, the Generals play the rubber match of the series against Montgomery. Jackson is 4-2 in rubber games this season. Paxton (6.0,4,1,1,3,4) allowed 1 run on 4 hits, while walking 3 and striking out 4 in 6.0 innings to pick up his 5th win of the season. RH Yoervis Medina (2.0,0,0,0,0,4) recorded his first save of the season, tossing a scoreless 8th and 9th inning with 4 strikeouts. CF Denny Almonte (2×4, 2 R, 2B, 3B, RBI), SS Brad Miller (2×3, R, BB), DH Chih-Hsien Chiang (2×3, R, 2B, BB) and LF Kalian Sams (2×4, 2 RBI) each recorded 2 of Jackson’s 8 hits.
